 through acts of service. Join us for the fifth annual Martin Luther King, J
 r. Day of Service at the Hunt Recreation Center.\n\nJoin neighbors in the m
 ultipurpose room to complete a section of a giant paint-by-number mural, tr
 ansforming collaboration into a piece of community art. This location holds
  special significance, as the Hunt Center is named in honor of W.E. Hunt, a
  former community leader and principal of the school for Black children tha
 t once stood on this site.\n\nNo prior painting or art experience is requir
 ed—just a willingness to help and have fun. Volunteers will assist with pai
 nting sections of the mural under the guidance of Parks & Recreation staff.
  All supplies will be provided. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting 
 dirty.\n\nWhile the project is intended for volunteers ages 16 and up, thos
 e ages 10-15 can assist with a parent or guardian in attendance. Please reg
 ister each adult volunteer separately via the website.
