 through acts of service. Join us for the fifth annual Martin Luther King, J
 r. Day of Service at the Hunt Recreation Center.<br /><br />Join neighbors 
 in the multipurpose room to complete a section of a giant paint-by-number m
 ural, transforming collaboration into a piece of community art. This locati
 on holds special significance, as the Hunt Center is named in honor of W.E.
  Hunt, a former community leader and principal of the school for Black chil
 dren that once stood on this site.<br /><br />No prior painting or art expe
 rience is required—just a willingness to help and have fun. Volunteers will
  assist with painting sections of the mural under the guidance of Parks & R
 ecreation staff. All supplies will be provided. Please wear clothes you don
 ’t mind getting dirty.<br /><br />While the project is intended for volunte
 ers ages 16 and up, those ages 10-15 can assist with a parent or guardian i
 n attendance. Please register each adult volunteer separately via the websi
 te.
