 n\nFeaturing a headliner band, food trucks, an incredible fireworks show, a
 nd more, the annual Fireworks Spectacular draws well over 15,000 attendees 
 each year.\n\nThe Town of Wake Forest is inviting veterans from all militar
 y branches to lead the Pledge of Allegiance during the 2026 Fireworks Spect
 acular. Veterans in attendance at this year’s event will be invited to asse
 mble in front of the stage and lead the Pledge of Allegiance during the int
 ermission portion of this year’s program which typically begins at 7:30 p.m
 . Intermission will also feature a soloist, selected by the Parks, Recreati
 on & Cultural Resources Advisory Board following an open call, performing t

 participating veterans from a designated pick up location in the student pa
 rking lot to a drop off area near the main stage.\n\nBoth regular and acces

 s on the campuses of Heritage High School, Heritage Middle School, 3400 Rog
 ers Road, and Heritage Elementary School, 3500 Rogers Road. Parking will al
