 orks show, and more, the annual Fireworks Spectacular draws well over 15,00
 0 attendees each year.<br /><br />The Town of Wake Forest is inviting veter
 ans from all military branches to lead the Pledge of Allegiance during the 
 2026 Fireworks Spectacular. Veterans in attendance at this year’s event wil
 l be invited to assemble in front of the stage and lead the Pledge of Alleg
 iance during the intermission portion of this year’s program which typicall
 y begins at 7:30 p.m. Intermission will also feature a soloist, selected by
  the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Advisory Board following an ope
 n call, performing the National Anthem.<br /><br />See additional informati

 participating veterans from a designated pick up location in the student pa

 ers Road, and Heritage Elementary School, 3500 Rogers Road. Parking will al
