Dix Park's Sunflower Celebration

Celebrate peak sunflower season with a day of family-friendly fun surrounded by vibrant blooms. Enjoy special activations, live entertainment, food and drinks from local vendors, and make the most of this annual summer celebration.

2 - 7 pm Raleigh Astronomy Club doing solar observing
The Sunflower Field is free to visit
Dix Park is open 7 days a week, from dawn until dusk

Biking to the Sunflowers?
Oaks & Spokes and Raleigh Community Kickstand will be offering free bike valet at their shipping container bike shop in Parking Lot A, July 11 & 12 from 10am - 1pm. Skip searching for a tree to lock up to and leave your bike in safe hands. While you're there, grab some stickers, get a free safety check, and learn a bit about bike maintenance and what the pros do.

Indoor restrooms are available at The Stone Houses seven days a week from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm and at Gipson Play Plaza.
Temporary restrooms are located at the Magnolia Room.
