Fish of Falls Lake

Join us at Falls Lake State Recreation Area for a day of fishing & fun!
There will be educational information on types of fish that are native to North Carolina, a fishing tournament (designed for kids 5 – 13 years of age) & opportunities to meet Park Rangers. The event will be held between shelters 21, 22 & 23 at Beaverdam Lake Day Use Area of Falls Lake State Recreation Area.
Guests should arrive right at 8:30am or a little early if wanting to participate in the fishing tournament, but otherwise guests should feel free to stop by any of the environmental education sections at their own pace while visiting.
