Worldwide Day of Play at Marbles Kids Museum

Join us for a day dedicated to getting active and experiencing joyful learning through play!
Celebrate Worldwide Day of Play at Marbles! Play games from across the Triangle, make connections with the Canes Skill Series and YMCA Super Skippers and get active with local organizations like Knuckle Up Boxing and Oaks & Spokes.
PLAY in Kids Way: Play tabletop and oversized games like chess, checkers, mancala, sjoelbak and more while learning about their origins.
Takraw, Kick Volleyball: Play a game of “kick volleyball,” a sport that’s unique to Southeast Asia.
Schedule:
Canes Skill Series | 10am-12pm | Curiosity Square: Practice stick handling, check out hockey gear and try your hand at shooting and passing a puck with the Carolina Hurricane’s community relations team.
Oaks & Spokes | 11:30am-1:30pm | Marbles Playway: Practice stick handling, check out hockey gear and try your hand at shooting and passing a puck with the Carolina Hurricane’s community relations team.
YMCA Super Skippers | 12:15pm-1:15pm | Curiosity Square: Be inspired by a YMCA Super Skippers performance! Then get in on the action with hands-on, hop-in jump roping.
Kunckle Up Boxing | 2pm-3pm | Curiosity Square: Learn some new moves with cross combinations and boxing gloves.
