Carnival of the Animals Raleigh Dance Theatre Have you ever seen an elephant dance ballet? Or encountered giant sea creatures in a submarine? Look no further! Your North Carolina Symphony and guest artists bring the animal kingdom to life for Saint-Saëns' The Carnival of the Animals.
Pre-concert Activities
Free, kid-friendly activities will begin in the lobby one hour before each performance! Join the WakeMed Injury Prevention team for some fun and games and learn how you and your family can enjoy a safe and healthy summer. Plus, meet animal puppets with our friends at Marbles Kids Museum and try out real musical instruments at the Symphony’s popular Instrument Zoo!

Ovations
The North Carolina Symphony is proud to offer Ovations, a pre-concert performance opportunity for student and community groups. On select concert dates we invite small groups of advanced student musicians and community members to perform in the lobby of Meymandi Concert Hall.
