North Raleigh United Methodist Church's Good Friday Family Journey to the Cross

NRUMC invites you to join us on Good Friday for the Journey to the Cross, a guided prayer walk in the Youth Building that follows the final steps of Christ's ministry on earth. It is intended to provide space for participants to reflect on the events of Jesus’ crucifixion in a meaningful way.
The Journey to the Cross is open to everyone and all are welcome. This experience is ideal for young children, youth, and adults. It is a wonderful experience for families to share. NRUMC members are encouraged to invite their friends to attend. Twelve interactive stations will be set up in the Youth Center, each providing inspiring ways to meditate on Jesus’ Journey to the Cross. Take-away items will be available at each station and attendants will be present to assist as you make your way. As we move through Holy Week, the challenge for many of us is shutting out the noise and distractions of everyday life long enough to quiet our souls and listen to the Spirit of God.
