On Saturday, August 19th, Phillips Farms will close out their summer season's Shop and Play Saturdays with a special fundraiser. Phillips Farms will host the "Luau for Hope," a luau themed day featuring a whole hog roast on behalf of Convoy of Hope's disaster relief efforts in Maui. Each $10 plate of roasted pork will include fresh pineapple and donut holes from Local Donuts. A portion of the proceeds of every plate sold will be donated to Convoy of Hope, and the farm will also be collecting donations on-site. Phillips will also be collecting donations via a Raffle for Hope: One lucky winner will receive season passes to the Phillips Fall Family Fun Park, Sunflower Field, and Corn Maze for each member of their immediate family to enjoy, and each $5 raffle ticket will be donated entirely to Convoy of Hope.
Guests can shop local vendors, farmers, growers, and artisans and support Convoy of Hope's work in Maui. The farm will offer discounted tickets for entry to the family fun zone, and the Luau Day will celebrate family and community with a pineapple eating contest, gemstone mining, candy cannons, face painting, the Pint Sized Pasture petting zoo, and food truck derby.
Let's come together for some family fun to support families in need, no matter how far away.
