Pediatric Care for Infants, Children and Adolescents
Our pediatricians, adolescent medicine specialists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents. We provide personalized care for your child in a comfortable environment.
Pediatric Care for Infants, Children, and Adolescents
- Well-child care, routine check-ups, and sick visits
- Annual physicals, school physicals, and sports physicals
- Immunizations, including newborn and school-age vaccinations, and annual flu shots for children over six months

Lactation Counseling
Appointments can be made with a certified lactation consultant at Duke Children's Primary Care North Durham or Duke Pediatrics South Durham to share guidance on all aspects of breastfeeding and assist with breastfeeding concerns. Our clinics have private spaces for breastfeeding families.
Specialty Referrals
When necessary, your child's primary care doctor can make referrals for specialty care -- connecting your family directly with Duke's network of renowned specialists. No matter who your child sees at Duke Health, their care will always be coordinated through our electronic medical records system, which is accessible to every doctor and every facility at Duke.

My Duke Health (previously Duke MyChart) is our easy-to-use online patient portal. My Duke Health gives you secure access to view your child's test results, schedule appointments, request prescription refills and communicate with your child's care team.

Before scheduling your appointment, we strongly recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the Duke Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Our clinic is located in Duke Medical Plaza Brier Creek, a short drive from the Brier Creek shopping center, about a mile east of I-540 and Lumley Road – convenient to Raleigh, Durham, Morrisville and western Wake County.
Duke Children's Primary Care includes three locations – Duke Children’s Primary Care Brier Creek, Duke Pediatrics South Durham, and Duke Children’s Primary Care North Durham.
