PERINATAL CARE

At Bloom, we help support women throughout their reproductive journey from conception, pregnancy, birth, and their transition through postpartum. A woman’s body goes through a lot of changes quickly and typically in a relatively short time period. Bringing balance to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems allows for a more comfortable experience for mama and baby.

PEDIATRIC MOTOR DEVELOPMENT

Babies develop their bodies, whether it be bones, joints, and brains, through their movement patterns. Our goal is to fine tune these patterns and encourage consecutive, appropriate, and timely milestone achievement. By working on this early, we set them up for success as older children and even into their adulthood.

MILESTONES ADDRESSED: Developing confidence and true connection within their own bodies.

INFANT FEEDING

No matter how you feed your baby, it is important for them to feed efficiently since this is a building block for other skills throughout development. Improving a baby’s ability to feed can lead to less pain and complications for mama, but also decreased irritability and digestive related issues in baby. It is the foundation for self-regulation, feeding solids and proper speech in the future (among many other things). Feeding difficulties can come in many forms, but are often attributed to biomechanical, structural, and/or neurological challenges.
