Our dedicated and trained counselors specialize in blending STEAM-based games, projects, and activities that spark imagination and foster confidence. Each day is an adventure filled with artistic expression, innovative learning, and exciting new skills. Through field trips and visits to local businesses, students will explore the vibrant community around them while making memories that last a lifetime.

Camp Highlights:

STEAM-based activities designed to build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills.
Field Trips and Special Guests: We’re working on an exciting lineup including trips to the NC Science Museum and unique, hands-on experiences.
Weekly Ice Cream Walks: Enjoy a fun walk downtown for ice cream and a visit to the park every week.
Weekly Adventures: Each week is a new adventure, featuring themed games, creative arts, and collaborative activities to keep everyone engaged.

Summer 2025 Weekly Themes

June 2-6 Picasso's Palette An art themed camp where imagination knows no bounds.

June 9-13 Wild West Live out your cowboy and cowgirl dreams in this frontier themed camp.

June 16-20 Share the Love Celebrate love and friendship while making a positive impact on the community.

June 23-27 No Place like Home Exploring the planet we live on...and some we don't

July 7-11 Walk on the Wild Side Join the safari and discover the wild world of animals on our planet.

July 14-18 Shipwrecked Aargh Matey! Walk the plank as we adventure into the sea.

July 21-25 Storm Chasers Tornadoes, hurricanes and floods oh my!

July 28-Aug 1 Around the World Explore holidays, native wildlife, culture and food from around the world.

Aug 4-8 Chef's Table Sweet, salty and a little bit spicy in this cooking themed camp.

Aug 11-15 Mount Olympus Train like heroes and study mythical creatures in this legendary camp.

Aug 18-22 Movie Madness Say goodbye to summer with our favorite movies.

Two Camp Options to Choose From:

Half Day Adventure (Ages 4-12)

Hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
$175/week
Add-ons: Early drop-off (7:30 AM, +$20/week) or Late pick-up (1:00 PM, +$30/week)
Note: Campers will enjoy weekly ice cream walks and park trips but will not participate in off-campus field trips. Must be restroom independent.

Full Day Adventure (Ages 6-12, Rising 1st - Age 12)

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$275/week
Add-ons: Early drop-off (7:30 AM, +$20/week) or Late pick-up (6:00 PM, +$30/week)
Field Trips: Weekly field trips, with transportation included (weather permitting). These may include hands-on, guided experiences and local trips related to weekly themes. Must be able to sit in a booster seat provided by AIDA.

A Typical Day at Camp:

At AIDA, we believe in fostering independent, cooperative play and encouraging campers to take initiative in planning their activities. While we’ll stick to a general schedule, we’re always ready to follow our campers’ lead and let their creativity shine!

7:30 - 8:30 AM: Check-in (usually outside)
8:30 - 10:00 AM: Outdoor games/activities
10:00 - 10:30 AM: Snack
10:30 - 11:30 AM: Guided STEAM activity
12:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 - 2:00 PM: Chill Zone/Free Play
2:00 - 3:00 PM: Guided STEAM activity
3:00 - 3:30 PM: Snack
3:30 - 4:30 PM: Guided STEAM activity
4:30 - 5:30 PM: Free Play/Check-out

Parents will receive updates throughout the day of our activities including photos, videos and more.

An email will be sent one week prior with updates.

What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
Sunscreen and bug spray (apply before arriving)
Water bottle (mandatory)
Full-day campers: Lunch and two snacks
Half-day campers: Snack and lunch (if staying until 1:00)
Yoga mat
$5 per week for ice cream (paid to counselors at the start of the week)

Fees & Registration:

Non-refundable registration fee: $35 (includes a camp t-shirt and drawstring bag for field trips) *labeled optional
Weekly Camp Fee:
- Half Day Adventure: $175/week
- Full Day Adventure: $275/week
- Early drop off $20/wk
- Late Pick up is $30/wk
$25 non-refundable deposit per week, per child, is required at registration
Discount: Save 10% when registering for 3+ weeks in one transaction.

Important Dates:

Registration is required for the full week of camp, with no refunds for missed days.
Cancellations: Must be made one week in advance for a full refund.
Field Trip Fees: Most field trips are free, though some may have a small additional cost.

How to Register:

Complete your registration online.
Pay the non-refundable registration fee and deposit to secure your spot.
Balance will be charged one week prior to camp.
If your choice camp is full, join the waitlist and a team member will contact you.

Please Note:

No electronics, including smartwatches and phones, are allowed at camp (unless specified for long field trips, with prior approval).
If you have a medical device, please inform us in advance.
