Fred G. Bond Metro Park

The Town of Cary Fred G. Bond Metro Park, at 310 acres, is one of the largest municipal parks in Wake County. Like an oasis in the midst of the city, the park design preserves the environment and offers opportunities for many types of recreation.

All facilities are integrated into the natural setting. Visitors may enjoy picnics, play ball on the athletic fields, see a performance in the amphitheater, walk along the trails, or play on the Lazy Daze Playground. Bond Park also offers orienteering as well as challenge courses. The Bond Park Community Center is within the park boundaries.

Find bait, snacks, ice cream, snow cones, drinks, and moreā€”all for sale at the beautiful Bond Park Boathouse nestled among the pines on the waterfront of Bond Lake.

Kiwanis and Buehler Shelter are Available for Reservation.
Bond Park Waterfront, screened porch, and deck has individual picnic tables, with and without grills, scattered throughout the area. These are intended for individual walk-up use.
