Passport to the Peak

Passport to the Peak

The Passport to the Peak is your guide to a year full of memories! Take advantage of all Apex’s 150th celebration year has to offer by completing the Ways to Celebrate activities to earn swag and fill your passport with fun experiences.

What is the Apex “Passport to the Peak”?

The Passport to the Peak is a small booklet that is all in one guide to the Town of Apex’s 150th anniversary of incorporation and provides a space for each participant to reflect on their own 150th story. Complete the Passport by participating in the Ways to Celebrate offered throughout the entire celebration year. Activities include annual events, special 150th events, historic tours, all in anytime offerings, and more! Passport visa stickers will be available at many activities. Participants can look for the “Visa Checkpoint” sign at in-person events to collect their visa stickers to add to the Passport books.

Participants are eligible to win a swag or prize item with every ten activities completed, up to sixty activities and six prizes!

The Passport includes:
A brief overview of Apex’s history and a message from Mayor, Jacques Gilbert
A partial list of activities (See the full list of Ways to Celebrate)
A snapshot of how participants can earn swag (prizes) for activities completed
A “memory collection” space for capturing fun and important moments throughout the celebration year. Participants can fill the section with pictures, receipts, random items, and more to help remember how they celebrated the sesquicentennial!
