Welcome to Camp Bluebird, 3 Irish Jewels Farm's Track-Out & Summer Day Camp Programs for school-aged children with autism!* The mission of Camp Bluebird is to nurture each child on the autism spectrum as a whole; emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually; encouraging exploration and appreciation of the world around them while learning through play, with a dedicated respectful, creative and professional staff in a safe and stimulating environment. We focus on three primary objectives: Social skills, play skills, and life skills.
Currently, each session is roughly $60.00 a day, with the option to pay in 2 separate payments. Full payment is due no later than the first day of camp. We are not able to offer partial sessions at the present time, unless extenuating circumstances occur. Our program has proven to be very successful and sought-after and we now have a waitlist consisting of many families who are in great need of our full sessions. We are a unique track-out program, in that we cater to the needs of children with autism -- therefore we do not operate on all tracks. We follow the Wake County Public School System and are in session only when students in the AU (autism) programs are tracked out during the year, or out of school for the summer... These sessions include Track 4 (year-round calendar), summer (traditional calendar), and designated sessions for the students on the modified year-round calendar. Please note that we remain closed during WCPSS all-school holidays, so that families and staff can plan for travel.
